On Wednesday, May 17 the emlyon business school forever Amsterdam community gathered at The Student Hotel, in the center of the city, to share experience on innovation and intrapreneurship.
For this special occasion, three guest speakers took the lead and talked about how they drove innovation within large corporations:
• Roxana M. Diaconescu (PGE 2011), Strategy and Innovation - Consumer Fragrances, at IFF – International Flavors and Fragrances, talked about the great and the tough of increasing speed of innovation to market: start-up style inside the big organization; IFF is a leading innovator of sensorial experiences that move the world;
• Bauke Jousma, Knowledge Manager, at Scherp Zicht | digital workspace boosters talked about the ideas and challenges for the transformation of an internal R&D department in healthcare into a new startup;
• Olivier Pernoud (PGE 2003), Director of Market Management Benelux & Nordic, at Expedia,Inc. talked about a number of initiatives that the company is taking to “power the industry”.
We take on the opportunity to thank all three guest speakers for their time and the insightful knowledge they shared with us. The audience had the possibility to go into more depth with them at the cocktail that followed the roundtable.
Alumni also got the opportunity to discover the new projects and the achievements of their school, over the past three years, thanks to the presentation of Aurore Poirier, International business development & alumni network manager for emlyon forever. New campuses, globalization, new teaching methods, digitalization and more – great achievements for emlyon business school!
