Born in 1972 in Valence (DrĂ´me region) Pascal Lorne is a French entrepreneur. He graduated in engineering from the University of Konstanz (Germany) and holds an MBA from the emlyon business school. He also studied contemporary art and genetics at Berkeley (USA).
Pascal Lorne began his career at Renault by accompanying Carlos GHOSN, then Director of Operations for Renault in Turkey, to launch the French company in Brazil. In 1998, at the age of 25, Pascal Lorne co-founded Ismap, a start-up which he later sold to Benefon, a Nokia subsidiary. In 2003, he founded Miyowa in Marseille, the first startup based on a system for sending and receiving emails on mobile phones. It then became Microsoft's official supplier for the development of all mobile applications.
Between 2007 and 2011, Miyowa became a Facebook partner and developed all mobile applications for Facebook and Twitter.In 2012, Pascal Lorne sold Miyowa to the US company Synchronoss, specialising in address book synchronisation, before returning to France. In 2013, he founded one of the first social networks for teenagers, Let.com.
In 2015, he founded Gojob, the first fully digitalized temporary employment company, of which he is now the CEO. Labelled as an Economic and Solidarity Company, Gojob's ambition is to build a more inclusive future by offering all those who want a job and the ability to progress, regardless of age, gender, origin, degree or experience.
Pascal Lorne is the founder of French Tech Aix-Marseille, he was its President for two terms until 2022. He is also General Secretary of French Impact.
Committed in the fight against discrimination in hiring and for full employment, Pascal Lorne published in 2020 the book "10 days to hack work", in which he presents his vision of tomorrow's employment based on the simplification of the labour market and the rebuilding of the social contract of tomorrow.
