Julien was not originally destined for a career in advertising. After studying engineering and business school, he started as a consultant in strategy. But his personal passions for painting, music and literature took over and led him to switch definitively to creative activities. From this experience, he keeps today a great capacity of analysis and understanding of business stakes, while letting express his creative sensibility and his intuition.
He has immediately specialized on luxury fashion and beauty brands, exporting his french touch and craft on international brands.
He then created his own agency in New York, before returning to Paris as creative director of a french luxury hot-shop.
His broad sensitivity and understanding of the business led him to big international brands like Longchamp, Prada, Valentino, L'Oréal Paris, Moncler. But also prestige niche maisons like Christofle, Daum, Haviland.
He joined McCann Paris in 2016, and he's now leading the creation of the french agency. He has driven the image transformation of L'Oréal Paris (the biggest beauty brand in the world) internationally and has since won numerous awards on campaigns, like the collaboration with the Vogue Non Issue, the most awarded beauty campaign in 2020.
Julien is very prolific and always involved in various artistic projects: painting, filmmaking, writing.
